I have recently received a First class BA Hons degree in Spanish and Politics with a Distinction in Spoken Spanish from the University of Leeds. I spent a year living in Spain during which I worked hard to perfect my Spanish and I now speak it fluently, which helped me receive the highest mark on my course for Spoken Spanish. I am positive, outgoing and enthusiastic about the language, and having received tutoring myself when I first started out learning it at school, I have developed an understanding of the best teaching methods and how to make it a fun and fulfilling experience. Learning Spanish for me has always been rewarding because of how passionate I am about it, and I hope to pass this on to my tutees. I am outgoing and engaging and I believe I can motivate those I teach. I do not believe that learning has to be boring at all. I think people often learn better in a more relaxed, less pressurized environment so I strive to create this in order to provide the best service I can. I find it effective to accompany formal teaching of the language with games and quizzes to fortify learning and make the experience of learning a language fun. Languages are communicative and so being able to translate formal learning into real-life practice is the aim of my approach.

I have 10 GCSES at A*-A, 3 AS-Levels, 2 A-Levels and a Pre-U Qualification (alternative to A-Level). I also have a First class Hons BA degree in Spanish and Politics with a Distinction in Spoken Spanish.
